Normally, both employer and employee contribute 5% to MPF. Fo the salary over 20k, the maximum contribution of the employee is HK$1,000.00. But some companies are paying exactly 5% of the employee's salary. The employee can also choose to make extra voluntary contribution to the MPF.
Please be noted that 5% contribution of employer and employee is mandatory and it is the obligation of the company to contribute at least 5% and 1% is not acceptable.
Regarding the annual leave, it depends to the company but standard annual leave by labor department is 7 days annual leave up to the 2nd year. The third year is increasing to 8 days, etc. The labor department has standard no. of days to follow.
