Hey there!

So I brought over some seeds for leeks and tomatoes from the UK and was planning to grow some on my roof terrace (I tend to get plenty of direct sunlight from 10am-4pm). Not sure given the different seasons over here when might be the best time of year to plant them though and whether there are any other general tips about the vagaries of gardening in HK that I might want to consider?

You could join the Hong Kong Gardening Society - they offer advice, workshops, talks on all aspects of gardening.
