Hong Kong Permanent Resident Eligibility

I'm currently on my 6th year in HK. So, I'll get my PR in a year. I was looking through the immigration website, and there are 2 supporting documents i need to provide

•Proof of 7 years continuous ordinary residence in Hong Kong immediately before the date of the application for permanent resident status, such as school documents, employment proof, official receipts, bank statements or income tax receipts

•Travel document showing entry to Hong Kong and your current condition of stay in the HKSAR

My question is, if I work outside HK for the remaining 1 year but still keep permanent address in HK and pay HK tax, will i still be eligible to apply PR?

I don't wanna risk my eligibility when they are checking my travel document in regards of point 2 above although i still fullfilling point 1.

Any advice would highly appreciated.

Thank you beforehand.

If you are working outside HK for a HK company and regularly returning then you may be ok. If you leave to work for a company abroad then pretty much no chance.
