Disposal of large household items

I have a few large item (a radiator and some furniture) which isn't working and am trying to find a way to get rid of it. My apartment management refuses to let me dump it at the communal rubbish bin so I need to know whether there is a rubbish dump near the Midlevels I could take it to. Thanks.
