We are in dispute with our landlord over damage to our laminate floor. They maintain that it is water damage, we state that the only way it could be water damage would be if the entire floor area had been flooded. This has not happened the damage is in random places, not even related to footfall. Basically it is normal wear and tear to a cheap floor over a period of two years. The LL want to employ a surveyor at a cost of 13K, payable by us if he finds against us! Can anyone recommend a surveyor and also a firm able to repair the damage,
