Hi my girlfriend is a registered vet from Malaysia (her degree is not readily recognized by HK Vet Association) but she wishes to land a related job in Hong Kong. She has already worked as a vet surgeon for more than a year in Malaysia.
Does anyone know how she can get the recognition or if there is any job opportunity in which recognition by HKVA is not essential? She speaks fluent Mandarin, Cantonese and English, possibly with some Malaysian accent though. LOL.

Hi, I noticed at the weekend that my dog's vet was advertising for a veterinary assistant ... probably well below your girlfriend's capabilities, but without a degree that is recognized by HK Vet Association, I guess it won't be possible for her to work here as a fully qualified vet ...?
