HK Permanent Residency Application

I have been in HK for over 7 years and am eligible to apply for PR status. About 3 yeas ago, I got into a minor traffic accident and had a court order. Unfortunately I got charged with traffic violation and had to pay fine, but no other heavier sentences. Since the application requires to disclose any violations and court orders while being in HK, I am wondering whether how it could get affected to my application process. Do I get rejected? Does anyone know the details?

Hi,

This is a minor offence, and will not effect your application.
But you should declare it honestly,

bye

i dont think a traffic violation should jeopardize your PR approval, they will probably be looking for serious crimes, not pettry traffic offences.

but do declare it, i would advise against hiding it.
