End of internship, which visa to apply for?

Good morning everyone!

I am currently performing a 6 months internship in a startup and as the end date is nearing my boss and I are planning ahead for the visa issue.

As they are willing to offer me a full time position once my internship will be over (15 July) I was wondering which type of Visa should I we applying?

Indeed, my boss told me that the Working Visa won't be conceivable because of the deep and strong skill-set that the government is expecting from each applicant. I am a 23 French newly-graduated and don't have the experience or skills required for this visa (from what I understood).

So I looked at the other alternatives and I think I have these two:
- General Employment Policy (GEP)
or
- Working Holiday Visa (WHV)
The way I understood things, the WHV is not the most convenient as it requires you to change job/ company after 6 months (even if I heard you can actually change job title rather than company) plus I heard there is a wage cap with this kind of visa.

The GEP appears to be the best thing but I heard it wasn't that easy to get.

So I would have loved having your advice/ experience or suggestions on this. Would be really appreciated :)

Thanks a loot !!!

Pierre
