Shoes -JM Weston?

Hi,

does anyone here have a feeling either good or bad towards JM Weston shoes?
I am considering a pair and would like some feedback.

If not Weston, then any other recommended brands?
And, last but not least, any good shoe shops where they sell these brands at discounted prices?

Florsheim or JP Tods are good brands also. Try checking Florsheim in some HK shops because they were on sale last August but I'm not sure if until now it's still discounted...uhhh forgot the name of the shop...it's somewhere in Grandville area.

I have been buying Weston (nothing else) for more than 20 years now & very pleased with these.
They last for about 10 years as soon as you have more than 1 pair, store them in the wodden "feet" & in a shoe bag, and alternate every day.

Because of this, they are not that expensive anymore.

I currently have 9 pairs. Very often, people ask me if these are new shoes. When I tell them, they are 9 years old, they cannot believe it....

Other OK brands are Church (UK made) & John Lobb (a Hermes brand).
