PLEASE, get rid of the FB links. Click on anything and I end up on your blessed FB page. if I want to go to there, I will, but, please, don't force me there. Very annoying

It's a strategy that Asiaxpat is using to build up traffic (ultimately, Likes) to their Facebook page.
Is it annoying? A bit. However, it's their site and they can do whatever they want with it.
Is it the wrong social media strategy to utilize? Absolutely. You can see the slow growth in "Likes" as proof.
As a (former) digital marketing manager for a major online company, I could provide advice on how they should go about it and build up a serious social media presence.
