I am moving to hong kong with my family end of July and having trouble finding suitable accommodation. I really want a place on HK island (repulse bay area/south bay/jardine's lockout)with 4 bedrooms and carpark (budget $80k inclusive). Does anyone have any ideas?

I just used www.habitat-property.com and have been quite happy with their service. My search criteria was different to yours however all of the properties they took me to look at, all met my critieria - I hear some agents will take you to properties that do not match any of your criteria, thus wasting your time. Good luck, its a tiring process and you have to be prepared to make fast decisions as the market moves fast

That's a tight budget for a 4BR in those areas. Maybe that will get you a 3BR around 1500sqft.
Agree that you should look elsewhere for that budget. Discovery Bay is good for families.
