I need to alter the settings on my pccw-issued router/modem. How do I do this please?


I need to change the "lease time for my LAN to 48 hrs" (apparently) to stop it dropping my VPN connection.


Any help would be magic :)

you need to connect your computer direct to router and login to your router,


if you are connected via a wifi router as is the usual setup then it wont work

connect the LAN cable direct to PCCW router.



but if you have a dynamic IP then i do not think you can do much to keep the IP

or there might be some option, explore it.
