Does anyone know of a really good car air-con specialist? Most places just seem to do bodge jobs. My car is quite old, but I wouldn't want to replace if for anything.

Where are you located? My car is a 1997 P38 Range Rover 4.6 HSE. I use to have it serviced by Land Rover, but they didn't treat it with respect as they thought it was too old and I should buy a new one. I have tried several other people, but have been very unhappy with the standard of work. This is not just a car to me. I wouldn't want to replace it with anything, other than another P38 Range Rover. I also have a 2010 BMW 118i which I only use as my spare as it's no fun to drive.

Seems Ricky couldn't help after all, and no PM from Kayng. Has anyone had any luck finding a car A/C specialist? They really should have a refrigerant recovery machine which automatically weighs the removed refrigerant, separates the oil, then recharges to the correct weight. I can't understand why it's so difficult to find a professional when every car in HK has A/C.
