How to win respect

Could anybody here advice me that how to win respect from the boss and colleagues?
Probably this is a wide topic, but I would like to know some strategies.

You need to earn it by hard work, quality work, showing respect and intergity, just to name a few.

Hi HK01, the solution you provide is great answer. Coudl I unsterstand as to be a high-quality person and You have no mistake for any person to attack you.

Sorry Alice, I do not understand your question. Are you saying you are a high quality person and your boss/collegues do not respect you?

If so, maybe try ask someone you are close with at work what the problem is. perhaps you inknowingly offended someone, or perhaps they are jealous of you. not sure, but maybe a friend at work and clue you in on why you are not respectd

Just be urself unless u wanna polish some shoes. You might gain respect from some but definitely not all.

Alice, HK01 & car lover, both said it nicely. The emphasis should be on "earning" respect through efforts on your part, rather than pursuing like it's some sort of prize/reward.
You will find if you are consistent with your work, help colleagues (includes bosses!).
That should also mean, you don't need to worry about to look over your shoulder for "any person to attack you".
You will have clear conscience and your integrity will be intact, and as you build your personal credibility, "respect" will follow.
With some - not all ! That's Life.
