Prescription Goggles

Hello all,

I'm going on holiday to the beach in a few weeks and was wondering where one can order prescription goggles/snorkling masks.

Hi Erba, can you wear contact lenses? Because that's a lot cheaper and these days you can get a whole pack of disposable lenses and just use one set per day. As far as I know, the best place to get the prescription masks is at a professional dive shop, located wherever you will be diving.

Just to follow up: at the dive shop you choose your mask that you like from among those that will accomodate the prescription lens, and then they order the lenses from their supplier. So you will need to supply them with an accurate prescription as well and then most likely wait a few days for the lens to come in. We opted for the contacts because of cost and convenience. If you haven't tried contacts in the last few years, you might give it a whirl, they've gotten much more comfortable, easier to use, and cheaper.
