i have been here for many years without insurance. i haven't had any major health issues (knock on wood). but i have been having increasing health problems especially with my feet ie.. bunions & gout.

i have been thinking of seeking out a specialist (podiatrist). i am sure a city like shanghai would have such a specialist.

could you recomend some ins. co. including websites and contact info.

could you refer me to some specialists in shanghai including contact info and/or website. if not h k specialists will also be acceptable.

I am not sure about specialists in Shanghai. If you have been having health problems such as bunions or gout, then these will probably be considered as pre-existing conditions and excluded anyway.

I know of a few companies that might be able to help with insurance, but not sure if I can mention them here. If you want more info you can send me a PM.

i am not sure what clinic to recommend you to as i am new to Singapore myself - you might however want to get a good international insurance plan before you have too many pre-existing conditions. www.medexplan.com steven@inter-cover.com
You might want to consult the Internet about life style changes that might help you with your gout and other issues. i was having trouble like that myself and have managed to nip it in the bud by changing a few things in my daily routine. Take good care...

I've heard that royalsun alliance offer medical insurnace in shanghai and have clinics & doctors signed up - butnot sure what sort of doctors they are. Maybe give them a try.
