Success of Fraxel for acne scars

Has anyone had Fraxel treatment for acne scars? I would be very interested in your experience, especially if you are Western as I understand it affects Asian skin differently.

Yes I have had fraxel and am a westerner who had acne scarring I noticed a significant improvement after one session, but you need about 3 depending on what result you want. I am very happy with the result and no longer have to wear heavy awful make up......go for it!!!

Your comments are SO encouraging. Three follow-up questions:
1. Where did you have it done?
2. How bad was the pain -- I'm a bit of a pain wimp. :)
3. How soon after were you ok going out in public?

I had it done in my home town of Perth, west australia. I have seen adverts over here in hong kong for it, but not sure were you would go.
They put numbing cream on for an hour and then started the procedure you could still feel discomfort about a 7/10 for me. (but worth it!) It was over so quickly.
Afterwards a bit swollen but ice packs relieved that, was still a bit puffy the next day but out and about as usual with sunglasses on.By the weekend (had it done on a monday) back to normal totally. as the weeks went by I could see more and more improvement as the old skin is shed and still see my skin improving day by day.
To me it is the friendliest procedure to have done without resorting to that more aggresive form of laser were you are bandaged up as a mummy for a couple of days. I recommend using n.v.perricone products afterwards and good sunblock and moisturiser.
