Prostate Help

I am above 40 yrs based in HKG.
I know I have prostate and undergoing Homeopathy medication from a Dr back home.
The DR said it is a prostate problem and gave me medicines.but I worry it might have developed
as a prostate cancer. I get up to urinate once a night in my sleep and feel NO urgency to piss. My foot has a small swelling and I am not sure what exactly is the condition. Is this signs that I have prostate cancer or Just a prostate growth which can be cured.. Could someone help me with an advise,
I am too disturbed o this...

Go to a doctor and get a referral to a specialist. Don't leave these things. You could be worried needlessly, or it could be a sign of another problem. Put your mind at ease. There is life after prostrate surgery if the problem requires it. One of my friends had a prostrate op (not for cancer) at 52... doing well now.

Agree with that - there is no substituting a forum for good medical advice with a doctor. But to answer your question, a small swelling on your foot does NOT indicate prostate cancer or, indeed, any other prostate pathology. Now, do not let that be a reason for complacency and not going to see a doctor.

Thanks for your advises. May God Bless you for comforting me. It is a huge sigh of relief. Yes. I agree I should go and see a doctor. Could you pls advise an Dr who is a prostate specialist.

my father is diagnose of having prostate cancer after he was admitted in Qm hospital having pain in urinating, i thought then it was only urine track infection,i just been in Tung wa Hospital yesterday whom we refered from QM.
the doctors has brief us about how they will do the procedure and giving us options
and we did have booking for surgery soon
try to check for yourself and after the result you always can go for a second opinion from private doctors whom they can give you list of private doctors, you can call each of them and Tung wa can also refer you to that specialist.
the doctor i spoke to is woderful.

just go to a doctor ASAP

- your brain will imagine thiongs otherwise and link up different things to imagine you are very healthy or about to die, and it is all in your imagination and paranoia - and that is normal anyhow.

You can go and have a blood test for several things, including possibility of prostrate issue.

And you will then get referred on (IF! necessary)
