ophthalmologist recommendation

My son rubs his eyes and blinks a lot. This has been ongoing for some time. Two ophthalmolgists who had examined him said that it was dry eye syndrome. They prescribed eye drops for him but he is terrified of eye drops and would rather lose an arm than put those things into his eyes. During a recent optical examination, the optometrist said he had some allergic spots on his eyelids. I wonder if there are any ophthalmologists in Hk who deal with children specifically. Indeed I could see something on his eyelids and wondered why the two ophthalmologists who had examined him previously had not mentioned the spots. I am looking for a third opinion. Can someone please recommend a good one from personal experience? Thanks.

Hi,

Your son sounds like he is suffering from the same thing I do/did and that is dust mites. I found myself with very itchy eyes...sneezing etc. Please check your pillows to ensure they are not down/feathers and are hypoallergenic. Blankets as well.

Thanks Sg Ed. Our home is carpeted - may be that is why. Anyway, a visit to another opthalmologist is inevitable.
