Which dentist for implants?

I've searched the old threads and quite a lot of recommended dentists no longer seem to be there. Can anyone recommend a good,reliable and experienced dentist to do implants? How about the doctors in Bayley and Jackson? Also, very confused...do you need to first go to a dentist then a dental surgeon or do you just go straight to the dental surgeon to do the procedure and seek advice?

Do the Quality Heathcare Dental clinics price differently at different locations? Is it cheaper to visit the clinic at Quarry Bay than the clinic in Central? I need a lot of work done on my teeth--crown, bridge and veneer. Any recommendation and advice are much appreciated.

Hi bamarama,

There are several good dentists at Bayley and Jackson, but if you are thinking of getting implants, you can consult one of the general dentists who will discuss how they can help you in restoring your teeth. If you only want implants, perhaps you can try consulting the oral surgeon at their practice.

I would suggest consulting Dr. Wor Lam to discuss your situation or consulting Dr. Richie Yeung who is one of their in-house specialists. Both are very reliable and are experienced.

Thank u DMFT for the recommendations! I will definitely seek them out. Was confused at first because some ppl advised on working with two dentists--the general one and the surgeon,whereas, others said just the oral surgeons will do if its about implants. Weak gums have caused tooth to become loose and implants are now needed. Thank u all.

I will not go to Dr, Wor Lam or Richie Yeung at Bayley & Jackson. I highly recommend Dr. Edward Hui ( 1901-03 The Centre, 99 Queen's Road Central, 2851-4888).

You may want to go for a second opinion with Dr. Hui if you have been to Bayley & Jackson already. you will like Dr. Hui much better than those two. Its based on my personal experience.
