Can anyone recommend a good Mexican and Spanish restaurants? My two favorite food groups so keen to find a good place in HK.

Mexican - the one in LKF hotel - Izote, was excellent! stay away from their fantastic margaritas tho - we had two and was pretty much under the table after that... no idea what they put in it...

Agree, Izote is very good. Agave in LKF is also good for Mexican. For Spanish tapas - Ole (same chain as Izote) on Ice House St and Ricos in Soho are excellent!

Great! I tried El Cid today. Better than nothing and not bad but not as "Spanish" as I would like.

everytime i want good mexican food, coyote in wanchai and agave in wanchai and lkf comes to mind..yummmmm
