Hi
Just moved to the area and have no idea where to take my girlfriend out to dinner. Any good reccomendations in the Clearwater Bay area?

Clear water bay is very limited, a few places down in Hang Hau and a BBQ place near the Uni, Your best bet is to go to Sai Kung, a range of restaurants, a new one that has just opened up called Scarecrow is very good, italian. There is also Jaspa's, Cru, anthonys catch, Thai Beach, a couple of italian places, indian, japanese etc.
If you want to try Hang Hau Village, there are 2 western places and a few chinese /Thai places. one of the western is a steakhouse called Lardos, good steaks reasonably priced but lacking in decor. The other, La Piazza is quite good and does pizzas, pastas mains, steaks etc. reasonably priced and decent quality food

Romantic place as well is Chez Moi (Pak Sha Wan) if you can be in the wooden house.
Nice and cheap as well is the Blue restaurant in Pak Sha Wan (Sanori or sthg like this), to avoid is the Poussada at the same place.
Hang Hau, yes Lardos and Piazza only.

Sorry do not have them with me but for Santinori, you can just go like this, it is never full and the best is the terrasse (well not today).
Chez moi is bit tricky as only 4 tables so you may have to wait unless you get the no. If you drive, may as well stop in the afternoon to book.

Good choice as well. We tried it the other day and if the weather become better it will be nice to be outside !
