Which potty is the best

I will be looking to potty train my child soon but don't know which potty to buy? There is such a variety out there! Is there a sensible and good potty that can be used for a long time? I would appreciate advice from experienced parents.

we got a "1st step" i think it's called. my son used it, but my daughter has only wanted to use the toilet, not the potty. type of potty doesn't really matter, just something that the child is comfortable sitting on for a while.
