Dual Citizenship

My son is born in Hong Kong with a right of abode, and I would like to ask if it's possible for him to have an HK passport and also a Philippine Passport.

Does he have to give up his Philippine passport when he applies for his Hong Kong passport?
I haven't gone to the Immigration to ask, but was wondering if anybody knows if its possible.

Fairly sure HK does not have rules against dual citizenship as many of the local populace have US, UK and Canadian passports. You should also ask your Philippine Consulate what their rules are on dual citizenship.
