German or English Kindergarten for 3/4 year old in HK

Hello Mamas & Papas! We might relocate to HK soon and we are looking for Kindergarten options for our 3 year old son from next September when he turns 4. Our household is German, English and Mandarin native speaking. Can anybody share any recent experience in applying for a place either at an English or German speaking Kindergarten open to non HK residents? I have read about the debentures at the GSIS of 475.000 HKD (refundable) & 332.000 HKD (non-refundable donation). Can this be true? Any clues will be much appreciated. Thanks Jana
