I agree with the advice to wait til baby is born. Hire hospital grade pump and figure out how often you need to pump once baby is born, and what type will suit you best. I found an electric one was best but as I was pumping a lot to start with and then maybe twice a day, and then not expressing at all and not working, I decided to invest in a consumer electric breast pump that was better than a manual pump and pretty quick. If you are going back to work, you might want to hire a hospital grade pump on a longer term basis.
Lastly, do try and get your hubbie and one other relative/ close friend to understand why you are so keen on breastfeeding. Anxiety doesnt help either. Best results come from being relaxed which is hard if you are having problems with supply etc so you do need support.
However, if you decide you cant breastfeed for medical or personal reasons, dont beat yourself up about it. Good luck!
