C-section scars / public hospital

Hi all,

I had my first baby delivered by a private doctor who used reversed stitching when performing the C-section.

I am considering having a C-section at a public hospital for # 2. Could anyone tell me if the stitching at the public hospital is done on the outside or if they open up the same scar? (I am eligible for C-section due to spinal injury).

i had two c-sections at QMH. they used the same scar but the stitches are on the outside and you have to go back on day 4 or 5, if i remember, to have them removed.
