scan pictures at Scan Yuk

I am having my 20 week scan tomorrow - do they give you a picture? do you pay for it?

you have to tell them you want a photo and you have to pay for it. (i think it was $360 or something like that a couple of years ago)

we see a Dr in Central & pay between HK$880 for a session, she does a scan every time & we get at least 3 photo's each time - we don't even ask. We were there 2 days ago & she charged HK$880 & we got our usual 3 pics. I would be a little upset if they charged you. Is just like fax paper & is no work for them. They just hit a button. The HK$880 is for the check up & scan - no seperate charge

For our 20 & 34 week scan we got a DVD with the full sesion recorded. Pics & video. No extra charge, but as the scan was very thorough & done by the leading sonographer(?) the charge was HK$1300

had a great scan today........got 4 pics and it cost $290, honestly dont mind paying for it, it was well worth it, was there for about 45 mins

blatant, i think that the scan in the bpublic system costs about $60.... so an extra couple of hundred for the photos isn't very much...

and they also do the 3d /4d scans for about $1000 and the equipment is meant to be the best in hk - even better than some private clinics.

the 3D at tsan yuk is $1250 for the first visit and $800-850 for the second. with dvd and loads of photos. they took about 40 minutes for that scan for us

i was lcuky enough(?) during my 1st pregnancy that i was hospitalised 5 times. during one of the visits, a dr approached me to ask me to take part in a study. i asked what i'd have to do...the reply...come once per month for a 3D scan. i asked how much would it cost...
NOTHING! I SIGNED UP IMMEDIATELY!

i didn't luck out the second time though!
