TTC #2 Advice

We have been trying to conceive number 2 for 11 months now with no luck. We have used OPK's and I have had some basic tests at the GP including thyroid, hormone all of which looked normal. I went to see the GP last month and she was a bit dismissive and told me there was nothing she would recommend doing until 12 months of trying.

Should we just keep trying or should we see a specialist this month? Has anyone had a similar experience?

Hi Bushy,

Last year, there was a very long and on-going thread on TTC#2, lots of great advice and sharing from mums trying for second, which i think was useful regardless whether you are trying for the first time or 2nd. I'm terrible at searching for old threads but hopefully you can find it.

I would second that. Although, I think there is something wrong with that thread. You could request Ed to look into it. It had some fabulous advice from TTC-ing at the right time, how to tell you are ready to what other things you can do to help. We were trying for our first. I am so glad I came across the book by Toni Weschler.
