Dear rugby,
I am beginning to look into surrogacy in India. The clinic I saw the most is Rotunda clinic. You can check out the following site to get more information. Also, look into some previous write up on this board. Some people share their experience.

I am still trying to understand all the legal issues involved. If you have more information, please share.

here is some info:
- the birth certificate will be issued in the name of the intended parents
- the costs are about the same (Surrogacy india, rotunda) although surrogacy india and rotunda were the more responsive ones. surrogacy india has references they can give you (although they give you the names of the referees)

What do you mean by "surrogacy india has references they can give you (although they give you the names of the referees)"? What kind of referees that we need? Do you mean the surrogate mother?
I contacted Rotunda yesterday and got an automated response from them. They said that there is a one month waiting list and I need to set up an appointment with their doctor.

I will digest what is written. I also contacted a couple in Australia through the internet and they said have success with Rotunda. However, I worry that it is just another advertisment scam.
