Need a mid wife for home birth

Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone knew of or can recommend a midwife willing to assist in home births in Hong Kong.

I have researched and found that you are able to have a home birth, but am unable to find any info on how to find a good midwife and the cost.

Any feedback regarding how to obtain one would be great!

Are you sure you are allowed a home birth in hK I strongly thought this is not at all possible? I guess this is why you have the problem of no one available to help you.

from my understanding a home birth is not "illegal" but a midwife could lose her licence if they attend one.

there was recently a reply to a similar question on geobaby from hulda, a well-known mid-wife in hk. you may want to look for it... it was only posted over the past week
