Girdle for after C-section

Hi, I am due for a c-section in 2 weeks. This is my 1st baby and I'm pretty nervous about the whole process. I'm also wondering how soon can I put on a girdle after the c-sect and where to buy a good one that can help the belly get back to shape quickly. Any advice?

i delivered in a private hospital and they provided a girdle for me to use. the doctor actually had it put on right the next day. she said it helps with the healing of the wound and the uterus getting back into shape.

afterwards, she said i can wear it for no longer than 2 months. she says prolong use of the girdle will slacken your back muscles.
