Positive Result - 8 IUI's & 8 IVFs later!!!
Hello everyone! Its been a while....
I think I've been on this forum for almost 5 years now during my journey to conceive and wanted to let you all know that I just found out yesterday that I have a BFP!
Whilst I still need to do a second test, I am told this first one is a 'strong positive' and a high level. Its so hard to believe after all this time. I am still in shock, disbelief, denial..... even the Doctor had to call me to reassure me I could think good things for a change.....
Its a small miracle, and I just wanted to say thank you to everyone on this forum. You guys have been a wealth of support and information and I don't believe I would have stayed sane during this whole time without you all.
My very best to all of you - and I hope to God you are all successful in your journeys too! Anyone who goes through what we have deserves all life can offer!
Thank you a million times over everyone! Fingers crossed for the next 9 months....

Yes, its been a long long journey. I had given up and even had counselling on how to live without children. I got on the 'silent sorority' website and even ordered the book - was so trying to come to terms with no children, and then it happened on the very last IVF we were going to do.
My second beta - 16 days post is 1100. I gather that's ok from what I've read. I know there's a new journey now to head down so fingers crossed for you MayC! Keep in touch - we may be booking beds in the same hospital before you know it.....
For everyone else reading this - I posted this to say that there is hope. I had long given up, but life has a funny way of changing when you least expect it. Good luck everyone and if anyone wants any information on anything - I can assure you - I've been there and done that. PM me. My success was thanks to Pre Genetic Screening and intralipid infusions....along with a cocktail of other meds which made all the difference for us to get to this stage.

Congrats to Trying and MayC! I'm so happy to hear the good news. Good luck with your pregnancies! Long before you know, you will be holding your little one(s) very soon. I have my 7.5 month old baby son now and no words can express my love for him. Take good care!

I have een following your tread for a while and a BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU!!
When you get the chance could you please send me some info on IVF..I am a new to this procedure it would be wonderfull to get some inside info on the 'DO' AND DONT'S as well as some good 'Doctor recommendation!! Thanks a ton and bestest for your future with your baby..
