Surprised non one has answered you yet on this. But usually it just needs one recipe to get the ball rolling. Poaching is a great idea for white fish. The peas and sweetcorn can be fresh, frozen or tinned - whatever you have. This recipe makes several portions, just freeze the rest (individually) once cool.
Ingredients
115g any white fish
60ml milk
60g cooked sweetcorn
60g cooked peas
115g boiled unsalted potatoes
butter
a teaspoon of fresh parsley (optional)
Method
1. Poach the fish gently in the milk with a small knob of butter.
2. When cooked, take the fish out and remove any bones and skin from the fish - keeping the milk.
3. Put all the ingredients in the pan and heat through.
4. Mash or chop everything to the texture/size that’s right for your little one.
