Indian Cooking Classes

I am looking for cooking classes for my boyfriend. We love indian food and he really enjoys cooking- it would be great if he could learn how to cook proper indian dishes! Does anyone know of any indian restaurants that provide cooking classes?

YWCA and Town Gas hold regular classess for Indian cooking.

I went to a Town Gas class a while back and, while it certainly wasn't a waste of time, I found it quite basic and I didn't learn anything new. If you're a complete novice to cooking proper curries and don't have access to cookbooks/internet recipes then it would be useful, and the teacher was a really nice lady. However, the course seemed to cater mainly for the rest of my class-mates, i.e. domestic helpers who hadn't ever attempted making Indian food before.

BTW, the curry mixes on sale at the end of the class are much cheaper if you buy the separate spices from Chunking Mansions and mix them in small quantities yourself ;)
