Cucumber and Garlic

I love the cold, crunchy cucumber and garlic dish served in Shanghaiese restaurants. Anyone have the recipe? It's not in any of my books and I can't find it on the Net. I've experimented using chunks of local cucumber with lashings of garlic in a tiny amount of chicken stock and sesame oil and it was okay, but I'd like to know the authentic way it's prepared if anyone can help. Thanks!

All you need are:

- Good quality cucmber
- Sesame oil
- Salt
- Chinese rice wine vinger
- Sugar (just a little)
- Pepper

Be sure to "flatten" the (cutted) cucumber so that it really soaks up all the marinate.
