I love the cold, crunchy cucumber and garlic dish served in Shanghaiese restaurants. Anyone have the recipe? It's not in any of my books and I can't find it on the Net. I've experimented using chunks of local cucumber with lashings of garlic in a tiny amount of chicken stock and sesame oil and it was okay, but I'd like to know the authentic way it's prepared if anyone can help. Thanks!
