best pizza: i think the cafe roma on park island hands-down

Anywhere on HK Island that has NY style pizza? Duke's might be big, but it's still got a wafer thin crust which ain't NY.

The Black Sheep in Shek O is quite good. They use high gluten flour which makes a soft, thick crust.
Baccar in Central also has thin crust pizzas which are good - especially the salami one where they cut strips of fresh basil and throw it on top. Not NY style, but tasty.
For delivery, the only pizza I know of that resembles NY style is Capones delivery in Sheung Wan. They are going for the NY style, but the taste is simply Ok. It's takeout.

Frankly not a fan of NY style pizza. Much rather prefer the thin crust ones ala Pizza Express. My personal favourite for delivery is Pizza Italia and Ziti's in Causeway Bay. Black Sheep is not bad.

Agree... Pizza Italia is superb... Pizza Express works as well ...if you like thin crust you have to mention Wildfire...

New York Pizzah on Gough Street (if it is still there) was superb. Also Baci Pizza in LKF. Pizzeria Italia on Mosque Junction is probably the best in town.

Difficult one, finding a real authentic pizza is so hard (and I'm talking real pizza, not any US style)! Pizza Italia is ok, not brilliant but better than most others.

Pepperonis wins hands down for location, price and eatability

Why don't you ask what is the worst pizza ?
At least, in that way, we know which place to avoid. And that is worthwhile information.

I recommend the Black Sheep pizza in Shek O for the real thing. Not a huge choice but definitely in a league of its own. Can't beat woodfired crust !! My favorite is the jungle pizza w/ san danielle parma ham and a big glass of fresh strawberry granita. .

enoteca on elgin. you can not beat the pesto chicken there...

Taste has ready made pizzas. Comes in a plain white box and is labled heavy pepporoni. About $80 HK or $10 USD. If you have a good oven might be worth a shot.

I'm surprised that Italian pizza place in Mosque Street (the eastern end of the street where it meets Robinson Road) hasn't been mentioned. Not sure if it's still there but it was about as authentic as you could get with real Italian chefs and thin crust. The 'quattro fromagi' or 'three cheeses' was superb.

It was mentioned much higher up the page - still there:
Pizzeria Italia Address: Shop 1, 1-7 Mosque Street, MidLevels Reservation: 2525 2519
