Lead weights for curtains

Can anybody tell me whether in Hong Kong or Shenzhen it's possible to buy strung lead wights for sewing into the hems of curtains. I've looked everywhere and simply cannot find them in Hong Kong.

Ka Ying Curtain Craft in Sai Kung uses small, loose, plastic-coated weights in the hems; I think they charge something like $10-20 each. Would they suffice? If so, most curtain makers should sell them.
