Watch TV on laptop

hi, i'd like to watch local TV and cable channels on my laptop, can anyone teach me how to do this as I'd like to get rid of my bulky TV. thanks!

Why not buy my offered for sale 15" LCD & hook up a "Gadmei" TV device - that has its own speakers, as has the LCD monitor, so you can choose which audio you want. It can also be used as a "normal" computer monitor too.

Why do I suggest this - well apart from wanting a buyer for my daughter's monitor - which she used at HK-UST with a Gadmei TV device - I think you'd agree that it's one heck of a lot safer not having trailing wires to a Laptop to trip over and crash the Laptop to the floor!

I believe in safety - and preserving the lives of Laptops. <Grin>.
