nokia phone- loudspeaker vs handset

Hi, I have a basic nokia phone and I recently put it on "silent" profile while in the cinema. When I switched it back to the "general" profile, I noticed that the only way I can hear the person on the other end of the phone is if I put them on loudspeaker. Does anyone know how to fix this? I called Nokia, but it's impossible to get through to a live person for help. Thanks!

Give these a shot and see whether it will help.
1. Proceed to menu> Call Options, and select "handset"
2. There is a "Push to Talk"(PTT) button at the side of the phone( a small button, which is blended as part of the phone casing) & may have been accidently activated. Disable this PTT by going to Menu function.
