I have a peculiar problem with my internet connection.
Once I was a PCCW-broadband customer, so my PC was connected, worked fine, no problem.
The PCCW-technician used his sign-in name and password to get me connected to the WAN miniport (as I think it is called). I never had to sign in: I just switched on, clicked on 'internet' and I was online.
At this moment I am no longer a PCCW client. I live in a share apartment where I tried to connect to the existing PCCW modem.
At one moment I could not connect, so I tried this and that, including fiddling with the sign-in name/ password. I deleted both of them, by accident.
Since the sign-in name and password are not mine, and I don't recall them (password was protected anyway), I can no longer sign in.
How to 'replace' the sign in name and password of the PCCW-technician with one of my own ?
