i am thinking of getting a new slim and lite PSP but i dont know will the memory card and the games from the old psp still work on the new PSP

I am 99.9% sure all your old games will work. The media is the same.

The PSP Slim uses Memorystick Duo, just like the old one.

You can use the old battery as long as you leave the battery cover off.
