Photo Scanner

I am wanting to purchase a PHOTO scanner. I have about 25 years of photos in boxes and would like to upload them to a hard drive etc. However it is very confusing reading all the reviews and wondering if someone could give me a recommendation on what is the best out there.

As I have so many photos in varying condition, I would like something that scans multiple at the same time. I see a few will do 3 at a time and load them as individual images. Something that has a touch up feature - i.e. elements or ICE. And has a quick scan time. I need it to be some slides and a film as well.
(but film not so much a priority - that can be done elsewhere)

I have looked at the Epson range - V500.V550 V600and now up to the V700.
The V500's - V600, I would need to order from the USA. But concerned over the voltage and any warranty claims as Epson in HKG does not sell it.

Would appreciate any comments or any recommendations.
