Hi I would like to find out if the playstation 3 is compatible with a old/non HDMI TV? also, if i purchase the console and games in HK, am i able to play/use it in other countries when i move? Thanks heaps, am getting it as a gift and i havent a clue

The PS3 comes with a Standard AV cable therefore will be compatible with a non-HDMI TV.
The console and games are not region coded so you can play them anywhere - you might need a compatible power supply though. (HK PS3s are 220v).

Luckily most of PS3 units are equipped with 110-240 power supply so that means you can plug it anywhere in the world. But since your buying your unit here in HK you may however need an plug adapter be it a universal one, HK is using Type M which has 3 flat pins same as UK.
