Cyber Security removal

Hey you computer whizzes! Could you please explain how I can get rid of Cyber Security. It's been popping up for 3 days now and I can't delete it. I've "googled" getting rid of it but have had no luck. Thanks heaps!

Seems like some pretty vicious malware and quite a job to get rid of. You can't just "delete" really. You have to go through a few hoops.

Have you tried these?

- http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-cyber-security

For myself, I would backup, reformat and reinstall.

BTW do you mind if I ask how you got this program on your machine in the first place?

I've gotten rid of it by using malwarebytes. It's a rogue thing which installs into your computer without your permission. Don't ask me how that happens but now that it's gone the computer is very fast.

Came in either from an email or from a website.

BTW what kind of antivirus are you using? I can't help but think that it should have picked it up.

Yeah that's what I thought. I use NOD32. But according to what people have told me and what I've googled, antivirus systems can miss it. I don't know how and I'm not THAT flash when it comes to computers, but at least it's gone. But because it's a fake website it wasn't harmful to my computer apparently but it was VERY annoying popping up every 5 seconds!
