We have a Hyundai Q5 phone (Android 4.2.2) that had been working fine till recently when its screen went black (no, the screen is not broken or anything like that.) Tried the usual power+volume down hard-start trick but it did not work. Has anyone experienced a similar situation and got it fixed? Thanks.

Would you not be better advised looking on the XDA Developer's forums for all things related to Android and Android phones - my husband swears by it and has saved us a small fortune wasting repair money in Wanchai and Aberdeen
