Travelling in Oct
Posted by sharonlou (326 days ago)
If you had six days holiday in mid October (after the traditional Chinese holiday period) where would you go? I'm lacking in inspiration.Have heard Hoi An in Vietnam is nice....would rather that kind of destination than a city, but all suggestions welcome!

That depends on what kind of vacation you are seeking. You prefer palms/beach or historic places?

beaches would be nice, or maybe historic places.Have already been to Lijiang, Yangshuo, Beijing; in Thailand, Kao Lak, Krabi, and Koh Samui.Do you recommend Shanghai?

Hi
You may want to consider holidaying in Malaysia. Currently the country is celebrating its 50th year of Independence celebrations and this year has been designated as Visit Malaysia Year 2007.
Visit the website.

Though the Independence day celebrations just passed on 31st August, you could still visit other places across the country.
cheers
