getting to and from bintan from singapore

Hi Everyone,
Does anyone know an option to get to and from bintan from Singapore without taking the bintan resort ferry service? They are all booked and I cannot seem to find a way to get there and back. Please help!

I know you can go from Malaysia, Johor bahru. Found this from the web.

Ferry Terminal at Bintan Resorts.
There are ferry services from Singapore Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal to Pulau Bintan. There are several ferry terminals at Bintan. For getting to the Bintan Resorts, remember to take the ferry operated by the resorts for the convenience. The terminal is Bentan Belani Ferry Terminal, which is within the resorts compound. There are 5 service per day on weekday and 6 service on weekends. The earliest ferry is at 8am and latest at 8pm. For more information, visit http://www.brf.com.sg/ There's ferry service to Tanjung Pinang from Tanah Merah too.
