Accomodation in Singapore for 1 week

Hi all,

I am thinking of going to Spore in next Feb for 1 week, maybe 4 - 10 Feb - during the Chinese New Year season.

I will be going with my husband and my toddlers (3.5 and 1.5 years old). I am looking for accomodation in the city area, preferably with easy access to public transport / MRT.

The accomodation maybe a studio or 2 bedroom apartment with weekly rental basis, or a hotel room with good deal (any website for hotel in sg?). My budget is 100SGD per night.

Anyone has info about this? Thanks

I'm afraid that during the peak period, SGD100 will not get you a decent hotel.
Check on a few family orientated hotels eg. Garden Hotel, RELC , YMCA for their rates, the 2 double beds per room, which will accomodate 4.
I have stayed in Garden and RELC and find them clean and safe. Both are a short taxi ride (a couple of SGD) to the nearest MRT.

Also try Singapore-based www.asiatravel.com - v good for hotels in S'pore. I've used it for my last 2 trips there.

If you weren't bringing your toddlers I would've recommended any of the numerous Fragrance Hotels, with room rates less than $100/night.

Check out the Le Grove Apartment. It is behind the Shangri-la Hotel and walking distance to the main Orchard Strip. The apartments is nice and clean and it has a nice swimming pool too. It does weekly deal. All you need is a one-bed room apartment. It is very spacious! We used to stay there all the time 2 years ago when we travel in between Malaysia and singapore with our 2 children.
