Sydney with 2 toddler

My husband and I going to Sydney in March with 2 toddler (3.5 and 1.5 years old) for maybe a week or 10 days. I am looking for accomodation for rent, maybe one bedroom apartment with car park. Preferably the apartment is located at convinient location e.g. close to the train, shopping mall, or beach.

Anyone has info about this? And also, any recommendation on where to rent a car in sydney?

Cinnsim, suggest the Meriton Service Apartments at Bondi Junction. They have 1, 2 and 3 bed for rent and offer good rates. I've stayed there plenty of times wiht my toddler and its above the train station, beside the big westfield shopping center and next to a taxi rank for travel. Its mid way between the city and bondi beach so very convenient all round...

For car rentals go to Bayswater car rentals (in Woolloomooloo, near the city) - much cheaper than the big chains but still reputable. They are cheap because they only offer white toyota corollas.

You will most likely have to get a taxi from the airport to Bayswater as they do not hire at the airport (about $25) and it's a pretty short drive to bondi junction if that is where you end up staying.
